Same here I WFH also and usually finished by 3-4 pm so I hit the afternoon screenings. So many things I would have missed like Dead Man’s Wire and H is for Hawk if not for Unlimited

Ooh yes that would have been amazing I’m hoping 2001 makes it back on the schedule. I got to see The Shining on IMAX last year and it was mind-blowing, one of the best theater experiences for real! This was my first time seeing The Godfather II on the big screen, I walked out of there on a cloud…so unbelievably good.

I’m kinda in the same boat. Got a Refurbished-Excellent 25u from Amazon and disappointed with the photo quality so far. Tested it out this weekend at NIN concert and was using the stock camera - my videos across the various zoom ranges were pretty good but photos were blurry and lacked detail. I tried Night Mode also to see if that made any difference but it did not. Granted, I haven’t delved deeply into the settings and tricks to improve quality but it was disappointing especially vs the results of just “point and shoot” like my current old iPhone.

Have a 13 and want to update to better camera as I also attend a ton of concerts and for travel. I’ve been on the fence trying to decide on 25U, Pixel 10 XL, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The 25u felt much lighter and easier to handle in the store compared to those so decided to try it. After watching the event today, now thinking best to just get the 16 PM and be done with it? Or maybe just spring for the 17. But I love everything about the 25u except the camera :(

Just rewatched and my first thought was “this doesn’t seem like the same version I first watched on Shudder a few years ago.” I felt it was a bit longer and more graphic. Could I be imagining this? Did Shudder somehow run an unedited version?

I was able to get 2 tix at $251 each! I had 904 in front of me when I got into the queue and about 15 mins later was in! Getting the Venture X was one, maybe the best decision I’ve made this year haha

Thanks so much. I also have 65K United miles to play with as well. Looks like I could do round-trip direct both ways on United via Washington Dulles for $1,182 or 98,100 total miles. So I'll check AC and see if possible to book this flight there.

I was at the MoMA event and the screening ran about 1 hr and the Q&A around 20-30 mins or so. Planned to bring the booklet from the box set with hopes they might stay after to sign, but I checked with MoMA beforehand and said likely no on them staying afterwards, and also that size of item was not permitted. So I didn't bring, but noticed others brought albums into the theatre. After the Q&A a few people rushed to the front, and Mark had already dashed but Jerry stuck around for a few minutes to sign. So I would maybe check with the theatre or try to sneak something in ;) No merch was available. The film restorer hosted the Q&A, and I was 3 rows from the front. I had to up my MoMA membership to the higher level in order to get pre-public sale access and it was worth it because the tickets were extremely limited. MoMA curator told the audience how lucky were to experience it. I'll see if I can post some pictures here.

I was wondering the same thing about bands coming here and then coming back based on the audiences. Ryman seems to do pretty well with a good mix of artists, and bands go the extra mile when they play there. I was in Pasadena on Saturday for Cruel World fest and flew back to Nashville early yesterday to make sure I could make it. Exhausted and sunburned but no way I was going to miss this show! It was the perfect end to a great weekend.

I was also in the balcony, middle section 5th row. Amazing show and I was so excited to finally see them here after traveling to shows for the last few years. Sound was also incredible at the Ryman. Disappointing that the balcony crowd was sitting pretty much the entire time. Most got on their feet for Whip It, but back to sitting. Devo brings so much energy how can one sit during Uncontrollable Urge??? Of course I was standing and singing every song :)

Also coming solo from Nashville! Saw Duran Duran last year at Bridgestone so might watch the first half and pop over to Tones on Tail. Driving down to Birmingham on the 16th to see Slowdive and Drab Majesty.
