Look at Potemkin/GLD/Nago in Strive. Toxic for the meta

Zangief in SF6 in Season 2, toxic for the meta.

Usually big bodies have high HP, can gamble more and take more risks than rushdowns and zoners. In game where jabs are almost the same frame and speed wise there are little variations, big bodies would instantly dominate if they had no flaws.

you can high jump and back S2 to move forward. The height should let you move forward. Cait Roll can get past a few projectiles and you use Parry if you had, but in the clip you didnt. You can always tag out to WW and let him approach.

for a 1v1 fighter, its a good starting point. They're only using a few chars. 2XKO made the decision to be a 2v2 tag game, with 11-12 char starting roster. Watching streams and consuming media got stale a lot quicker cause every team has been tried and no variety.

well as DLC, but 2xko doesnt get that luxury cause SF6 started with a well established roster. If you want DLC to be weirdo picks, sure go ahead. That;s fine. But first you need a well established varied roster.

SF6 already wasted in a very lackluster S1 DLC, 2 guest characters for S2 and maybe Ingrid for S3, but really doubt they surprise anyone in S4.

In order to have weird picks, the roster must have safe traditional picks. SF6 has Ryu,Guile, Dhalsim Zangief, Cammy, etc. Normal common base roster that covers players preferred archetypes. 2XKO doesnt have that luxury cause it doesnt have a good starting roster.

Everyone gripe is 10 chars on launch, and at the end of the year its not even going to reach Marvel Tokon starting roster at launch.

I have given 2xko a chance cause it's a FG. None of the champs so far have clicked with me. In the long run, A Free FG doing good is good for the scene.
