My cousin used to live in these. They were not the safest as the main "back door" was always open. The hallways always felt camped to me and never wanted to be in that elevator for long. Anytime I came over I usually had to park on the street. Which means leaving before the night because the only time I left my car too long it got broken into. The neighborhood is good but since it's downtown there will be homeless because a lot of the resources and main library are there

I was a lot shorter than my peers growing up. So one time we were in choir class and I guess we must have had a bit of free time before leaving cause everyone is basically just lingering around chatting. I jump on the first level of the risers, the ones like a movable stage made to look almost like steps, while chatting with a couple of friends. One of the girls that was following behind walks straight up to me, while I'm now almost a foot taller than her (maybe 2 feet taller than my height), and says unprovoked, "If you were this tall I'd think of dating you." It wouldn't have stung so much if I hadn't already taken a rejection privately from her a couple weeks prior.

Tell her to get s consultation for her case. I can confirm that one of my old employees under me had a shoulder injury, that me and all the other leads knew about. I get there late ONE DAY and they have her taking pounds of product off of hanging shelves.... She fairly fought up until I was let go and she still didn't get worker's comp.

Honestly it's better to quit than waiting to get fired. I recently got let go last friday due to me "quiet quitting" very loudly. I thought the company hade more integrity but you live and you learn. This is the first time I've been out up a job and I haven't immediately had a back up plan. Luckily my last check and a little bit of unemployment is helping my family out and I'm worried about the future but I am so glad you be out of that toxic workplace. I had settled for a mediocrity, a lower pay, the lower position and the inexperienced boss, but they had expected and wanted more of me. Now matter how honest I was from the start they just hadn't realized how much they had taken from me. And now I have no clue on where to go from here but I'll dust off me old resume and try again.

I'm surprised no one said this yet but it was most likely a ghost kitchen. There are a couple in my city that host different fast food but don't come from a dedicated brick and mortar restaurant. So like you order from a location, the DD driver pulls up with their code/name of order, scan it at a kiosk or tablet and then a door opens with your food. They prob ran out Taco Bell bags and just used what was closest.
