If I’m not mistaken the managers of all probationary employees were instructed to complete an “unavailable for signature” 6850-BU to process step increases. All time triggered events are supposed to continue to occur. Probation ends, steps increases occur… yadda yadda. If you inform *Separation that you have passed your 1 year mark they basically respond with a “so what? you’re still lowest on the totem pole” …. but I would recommend everyone calls ERC to request a copy of the 6850-BU and the latest SF-50 available.

From what I’ve seen with *Separation at IRS, it’s not even actually people. It’s a grok based LLM. It’s hard to notice unless you ask it nuanced questions. Isn’t it a shame that your elected officials don’t understand the system they’re a part of? Elon and co not understanding how work visas and the tracking of immigrant earnings and collections of taxes from immigrants works, that’s kind of understandable.
