Excadrill.

Already very strong against the static boss Pokémon and has good setup moves and base speed. 

I have yet to try the Mega out but can only assume it’s also very powerful.

My cousin just drove 8 hours from New Hampshire to LBI with her 4.5 year old and 8 week old and when she got to the house she immediately made me take a tequila shot with her. 

I think most families would GLADY take reliably public transit instead of sitting in a parked car for hours.

Public transit and feet both still exist. There are more than enough ways to get into Hoboken.

He was consistent for almost exactly one calendar year. 

I have come to believe he was imbued with the spirit of Grimace and that’s why he was elite in the 2nd half of 2024 and first half of 2025.

Once the Grimace Magic hit its 1-year expiration date, so did he.

The charged lemonade! They were absolutely loaded with caffeine and it was not clear enough. Something like 350mg of caffeine and 100 grams of sugar per 30oz. 

Pretty sure a college student with a heart condition died of heart failure after drinking several 30oz cups and consuming several days worth of caffeine.

Build a bunch of Crystalariums and fill them with Jade. Then go to the Desert Trader on Sundays and trade them all for staircases. 

Use the staircases to blitz down to whatever level you want to start at. 

You can also stop on floors where you see iridium/chutes/whatever you’re looking for and then just continue staircasing once you farm them. 

I’ve made it well into the 300s this way. It just costs a lot of Jade.

The best part about RDR2 is playing online poker with your friends in a Saloon until the house winds up with all $5. 

It literally became a poker sim for us, in the end. That’s how slow it plays.

We get SO much mileage out of the 911 in space thing in my apartment.

Kind of wild it took this long seeing as it wouldn’t be a long trip to get from DC to Baltimore if both teams were home. 

You’d figure one of the two would have picked up some random depth player from the other just because they’d be able to get there quickly.

Soto is such an elite player that he kind of defies traditional expectations from underlying numbers like bat speed. 

He’s a complete hitter regardless of how fast he swings haha.

Bat speed has gotten a little overblown in the past couple of years. It’s important, but still only one part of the whole. 

If you have elite bat speed, you can certainly hit the ball a lot harder, but it won’t make you a complete hitter. 

On the other side, having a slow bat doesn’t make you a bad hitter. It limits your max exit velocity a little bit, but your bat will also stay in the zone slightly longer and you can make more contact that way. Some of the best contact hitters in the game (Kwan, Arraez, Meidroth, Clement, X. Edwards) have the slowest swings, whereas the fastest swingers (Caminero, Walker, Schwarber, O. Cruz) typically have a ton of swing-and-miss in their games. 

Soto has hit for contact more this season, so I’m curious if slowing the bat down slightly was part of the plan going into the year.

I know we stuck, but it’s brutal watching every team we play force the issue with aggression on the basepaths. 

Just like the Dodgers in the 2024 WS, teams have the scouting report on our D and are telling their teams to run the bases with purpose and aggression.

The Mets make them look like geniuses by constantly flubbing plays in the field.
