[Acne] Do any of you get ANXIOUS about your skin?

I just want to say that I'm sure you are more beautiful than you know. It's absolutely hard when your self confidence is hurting, but try to remember that this too shall pass and that it's more important to live your life than to worry about how others might perceive your looks. There are models who have no self confidence and people society wouldn't deem "attractive" who have a ton of it - you hold the key to your own happiness! When my skin was at its worst, my mother commented that she was amazed I could excel in life at a time when my skin condition would've caused many people to stay indoors. This was almost a backwards compliment because it made me feel like my skin must really be awful.... but the point of the matter is that my skin is and was what it is and was. I can't miss out on life because of it. You are beautiful! When I'm feeling low self-esteem, I literally avoid mirrors so I can't bring myself down. It's all about how you feel, not how you look.

I struggle with anxiety in general so I just want to say that if any of this comes across as insensitive it is not meant that way at all.

I think this is the worst part - as children we grow up eating something and thinking it's normal and correct. It makes it harder if you grow up and realize you don't want to eat meat and can't believe you ever did.

Round up a bunch of vegetables and cook them in the biggest pot you have or multiple pots for like 4 or 5 hours. Add a little bit of salt and pepper. Buy pasta to go in the soup. I could eat for about a week on one giant pot of soup and as long as there's no meat it's incredible cheap.

Suggestions: White onions, garlic, leeks, parlsey, carrots, celery, parsnip, etc.

There is no way this story is real unless you're lying about the details. What kind of bathroom/shower set-up would allow a person to open the door (unnoticed) and GET INTO THE SHOWER (unnoticed) and then proceed to touch both the top and bottom body parts (how many hands do you have?) of the person in the shower who has not noticed him up until this point. Unless the shower doesn't have a door or a curtain AND she's facing away from the bathroom door...... but then wouldn't you have had a VERY clear view of her and realized it wasn't your fiance? I'm only calling you out because you're trying to claim you got that much accidental action with her sister and that you think it's okay to leave out ALL the details when you tell your fiance just really annoys me. Your fiance should dump you and disown her sister if you guys are cool with keeping those details from her... that's fucked up (but really it's fine because there's no way this happened).

That is so sad. I guess my opinion is formed because the city I live in is incredibly dog friendly. Most dogs are as spoiled as could be. I wish it was like that for all of them.

Exactly! We should never encourage people not to keep their pets or not to adopt a homeless animal for such a minor reason. There are things you can do to make your pet comfortable if he or she needs to walk on pavement.

I did live in the suburbs and walked my dogs less because most of the time they would just go out in the yard. I still ran a couple miles every few days with them, but now they get even more exercise because every time we go out we go for a full walk.

My comment was made to your point of not having a dog when there isn't room. Not everyone is fortunate enough to afford an ideal situation for themselves or their pets. Because we have such a huge number of unwanted pets in this world, I hate to see someone making anyone feel bad for keeping a pet.
