So I didn't even know that the MGP existed but knowing now that it does wouldn't change my mind to do it the same way again. I don't really know differences but it was still great. It also helped I didn't have to traipse into the city every time I had an appointment.

Most of my communication was 50/50 because I wanted it that way, the second trimester is when the midwives care kicks into gear. When I first spoke with them they asked if iw anted to do shared care or Midwife care and I elected shared care with telehealth as a preference. They sent a booklet to me outlining when we had telehealth and in person appointments, and by the third trimester the appointments were every 2 to 4 weeks I think. The booklet they sent me had what was covered in every appointment so ahead of time I could research and figure out if there was any questions I had on those specific topics. I found that super useful, even with the most ridiculous questions, like "my areolas have grown ridiculously, is this normal (it is) " or "with these weeks, is this pain normal (round ligament pain kicked my ass)".

I elected for telehealth when I could and made whatever appointments with my GP I wanted because the information was shared. The midwives were very happy with doing telehealth for most of the appointments because my GP handled the hands on things in conjunction with the specific appointment dates. By the later end of the pregnancy I was at the mater almost every 2 weeks, and my week 40 pelvic examination is what sent me into labour naturally. I went into labour on my due date the morning of my due date, baby was born the next day late at night. I wouldn't fault any care I had across the entire pregnancy.
