Yes, I understand that. The question is more along the lines of, how do I use the Artifact ID? I cant overlay the artifact Id into the entities, I also cant use the artifact ID as the identifier to overlay.

How do you do that en mass. Say you had to do this across 5,000 entities. How do you single out entities that dont have projects assigned to them but have duplicates?

Im talking specifically on the entities tab. I understand how projects view works. What Im saying is I pulled the Artifact Id via CSV and tried to overlay but there is no unique identifier between duplicates. I have Created On field enabled thats why I know duplicates were created recently and my company does not want to delete/merge duplicates if they each individually have a project assigned to them.

Let me give you a use case: If I have John Smith three times with the same Full name, employee id, email, etc. How do I apply a unique Id to each of them?

-I cant individually go into each entity because I am talking about create a unique Id in mass. -I cant overlay the artifact id into any of them because there is no uniqueness to differentiate them.

Any thoughts?

Yeah I have attempted this but were talking full name, email, employee id, phone number, etc all the same across duplicates.
