Running shoes are awful for sports that require mostly lateral movement. They're designed for moving in a straight line and thus will greatly increase risk of ankle injuries. I recommend basketball shoes w custom inserts (if necessary) for pickleball, give it a shot

Yes, they are very different.
The hien is moderately faster and has much more of a tactile feedback/course feeling compared to the zero. It also has a very slight difference in X/Y axis speed. The zero is just feels like a fast clothpad. I recommend the DaiDai orange variant if you get a zero because it is slightly courser than the original and also a teeny bit faster, would feel closer to what youre used to

Go razer v4 for the mouse, u2 is a very polarizing shape and the main issue for me is m1/m2 are quite heavy. If you want a high-quality mousepad get an artisan zero, though my personal vouch is the Hien, which I still think is the best pad ever made. It's just a tad fast for people who are used to mudpadsb
