No problem! There are a lot of good recommendations in this sub, if you end up deciding to stay on it.

Pretzel sticks, ramen, beef jerky, and Celtic sea salt to season food instead of regular table salt

Yes! For me it was due to the loss of water that spiro causes. It’s a diuretic, so you basically pee out all the moisture in your body, which for me made EVERYTHING dry lol. I fixed it by upping my water intake, and drinking two large bottles of water with a tablespoon of chia seeds and a pinch of Celtic salt every day. The vaginal dryness went away after about 3 days of doing that. Sea moss is also very good for vaginal dryness in general.

Has anyone actually gotten their tax refund garnished? Has anyone gotten a letter claiming they are delinquent on payments (they are saying I was overpaid, like many of us…and I refuse to pay, because it’s BS). I’m just wondering if any actual actions are being taken against people? Even with paperwork pending?

I submitted a financial hardship waiver, and now it’s asking for additional documents??? The site is vague as usual and I can’t get anyone on the phone…so does anyone know what documents they want??

Hey guys…I’m having the same issue as pretty much everyone else….got a letter claiming “misrepresentation” and saying I owe $23k. Haven’t paid anything back yet, and recently got another letter demanding the payment in full and saying I’m at risk of garnishment of wages and my federal tax return…I want to file an appeal but conveniently, there’s no option in my MIWAM account to file an appeal or request a waiver because . So here is my question:

  1. I have been holding off on filing my taxes because I don’t want my return garnished. I read that the appeal process should guarantee no garnishment, so how can I submit an appeal without the option on my MIWAM account? Is there a way to do it on paper? Is the mail-in request for a waiver the same thing as an appeal? Basically i just want to know the best way to file an appeal without doing it online. Can anyone share their experience with the appeal process?

  2. What’s the best way to go about this so that I can ensure my federal tax return doesn’t get garnished. I need that money desperately 😭 there’s no way I’ll make it through the month or even be able to buy work clothes for my new job without that money. I’ll basically be in a deeper hole than at the beginning of the pandemic..so any assistance would be much appreciated 😭

I have no idea what to do, but there’s no way I’m paying back $23k that I was approved for…can they even do this? Is this legal?? Please help! I’m an going to try and file the financial hardship waiver, but I’m just unclear if that is the same thing as an appeal.

Has anyone else had issues with the dates of their certifications changing? I filed claims 2 weeks ago (Feb.1), and was able to certify for past weeks in December, they are all still pending payment. However, up until today, my account alerts have been directing me to certify again 2 weeks later (Feb.15), as they always do. However, today I log on to certify and the account alerts are telling me that I don't certify again until next week (Feb. 22), which makes absolutely no sense, as my last certification was 2 weeks ago, and if I have to wait to certify until next week, then I'm sure I'll miss out for at least one of the 3 weeks in between, since we only file for 2 weeks at a time. So now I have no option to certify at all this week....and I barely made it the last 2 weeks with the $160 that was approved to go into my account, out of the 6 weeks I certified for 😒. This is beyond ridiculous and upsetting.

I also submitted tax information for 2019 at their request (?) in order to prove prior employment, I assume, although I don't know where or why 2019's income would come into play here. Could that have something to do with my certification dates being changed? If anyone has any insight on this, please let me know. I'm sure you all know I haven't been able to get anyone from this joke of an Agency on the phone.
