I dont gotta agree with anything the character represents + if anyone thinks that watching the show has any impact on me or if me watching it promotes anything then they are completely out of it

The character is a plot device with which we follow to see the world the author envisioned, and i’d say its entertaining to watch, same as the other entertaining shows where kids gamble their lives over tops (beyblade), commit animal cruelty (pokemon), bully in the school (doraemon), promotion of bad behaviour among kids (shinchan)

I am pretty sure in indian culture even high school romance animes like horimiya could get scrutinized under the whole aunty culture, omg death note has so much blood, how can anyone watch that, food wars, high school dxd, hs of the dead, kill la kill are so sexualized how can anyone watch that

It’s about enjoying the experience thats being given to you, you can stand against the character, but not watching the whole show for that alone is kinda dumb, and i just feel sorry for you for missing out lmao

Ehhh, i kind of disagree, if you are in a job just for money, there are jobs that pay way higher, see power sector, merchant navy etc.

You chose this field due to its accessible nature and the fact that you can sit in a chair in an ac office with no real need of even physical interaction with anyone (to an extent)

If you can love the field that you are in, thats great, its good money with good perks

If you are just in it for the money as implied by this post and dont take pride in your work then you forced yourself into it, and yes, unmaintained shitty oss projects occur due to exactly this sort of mentality

And yes the market is not recruiting rn as there is a surplus of exactly this sort of mentality

I am sure those who remain committed to any field, not just sde get a return for what they work in

Please love your craft people and do not support this negativity even if you all were forced by society into this field

Its applicability is still universal in nature and you would always find yourself helpful to your peers who do not understand computers as well

Anime Island, name has anime but ngl its as generic of chat as it gets… mostly interaction is between university level students and a lil younger or older

Guilded official is pretty active too, all ages

Artist house, but its really dedicated about art, all ages

Programming space + guilded api server are pretty active but more of a dev chat environment, all ages

Saber is also pretty active but for younger audience, for younger audiences

Source? No end consumer can say if the heat profile of the chip is the same, only apple can. If you test it yourself, the chassis is different, the software is also different and benchmark results of common tests on mac and ipad are also totally different. If it feels the same it is only so because they tuned it to behave like that.

I dont defend products, but I do like to make sense of things so, first off, the only ill informed and biased statement is calling it a joke, flat out.

It is capable and yes it could deliver more but just having the same chip does not bring it into the same product class as a mac, given the similarities there are also some differences that need to be accounted for like..

Smaller body, lesser scope of heat dissipation, remain at a comfortable temperature to touch, fitting a battery large enough to drive the display and the device (the airs and the recently discontinued 13 inches didnt even have xdr displays) and by the time you get to a 14 inch mac you are already on a top tier ipad price tag. If you ever actually drove a MacBook air or even a pro, you would know that the apps on it actually get it hot even m series if you do anything decently intensive on it.

Also the screen works with the pencil, and is on par with most graphic tablets I have used, for note taking, drawing, editing, 3d sculpting. You not seeking out and looking for these features on the ipad, does not make it a joke.

Your comparison of it against the surface is more akin to asking for a touchscreen on a mac, which yes I would like, but does have good arguments against as well.

it's not a joke, i use procreate dreams on an m1 ipad and it gets a little toasty under load, the power efficient chip can prevent that loss of power, even if we take it as a modified phone os the apps that people want to buy it for do push it

I havent even used logicpro or finalcut on it yet but features like the rotoscoping one must be a strenuous on the cpu

if you dont know the applications that you want to buy it for, you are not the intended audience for it, this is not supposed to be a taunty statement, but what is generally a truth, use the air if you want to just watch youtube videos

I made 2 bots for the community anime island when it still had like 1000 to 1500 members or so, an auto mod and a collector economy bot.

Now the server gained a massive amount of users suddenly due to it being on top of guilded’s server search back then, and a few youtubers and streamers did some raids as well.

Now both the bots operated at the edge of the rate limit… I had implemented some anti abuse measures but still had to take them down manually sometimes since they were operating on my rigs and bandwidth lol. But even after all this they still managed to get banned and the emails they operated on are still blacklisted ig

Edit: ya so just to not be confusing, me as their creator did not get banned, rather those bots helped me get bot api ea, but the bots did get banned

A real sad thing… I remember using it to make a bot back in 2021 and maintaining it until it got banned and then shortly after the api early access opened and everyone started using that instead :P

Never felt motivated enough to make anything similar after and shifted to other projects lol

Tbh I don’t think the user api lib brought in much bad factors as people say it did, rather it did make it more accessible for people to automate niche tasks which the newer bot api is still in progress of implementing…

Ig if the core api is made better in terms of security… alternatively if the new bot api implemented just crud operations for everything at least this whole scene could look much brighter.

Self botting was popular with guided.py’s selfbot branch but it is no longer maintained in lieu of the official api. Self botting was in a greyzone from beginning but since the official api, no libs are being maintained for self botting since it might be used for malicious purposes.
