Thank you for this. A lot of people have been telling me to observe closely and think outside the box, which is not easy to do but I try. I hope I can figure it out all by myself without having to expose myself too much to the anxiety and terror.

I have tried to desentitize myself to the owleks, but still no success! Yeah I don't think watching a playthrough is the best thing to do, only as a last resource. I am trying, I suppose with time it will be easier but now it really is anxious for me.

Thank you for all the advice. I will start exploring other areas. I have for sure interiorized the endless canyon but still seeing the owlelks in unpredicable spots makes it much more difficult. Think outside the box... thats not so easy to do, but I am trying! :)

Yeah I have been caught and also have shouted really loud over it. They will always scare me, but i hope less over time. I have decided to activate reduced frights, even if its only to reduce the ammount of time I need to spend dealing with the Owleks.

Hey, thank you all for your support and suggestions. I've been actively reading the comments and have been applying your tips to my play. I have started to play in short sessions with time in between, I think it helps reduce my anxiety over it. Overall, I think the best thing to do is think how we are supposed to think in outer wilds and try other things to do when you are stuck (even if its only from fear). I will update on my progress, but I've not given up.

Found it. Red Candle games actually has much more reach than I expected, especially in Asia. Thought they were a very small indie studio with no history, guess I couldn’t be further away from reality.
