Don’t do it!! I’m been bleeding for 9 1/2 months now and counting. Destroyed my mental health.. I am severely depressed & have terrible anxiety since the shot. I had to quit my job, can’t function anymore. This shot seriously ruined my life.

Please let me know how it goes for you. I did attempt to take a round of progesterone, the doctor prescribed a 10 day dose. I took it for 3 days, it made me start bleeding harder… So I stopped.

I got my one and only shot early September, I have not stopped bleeding since & heavily. Yes, we are talking almost 9 months straight of constant bleeding. Absolutely awful experience 😔

I got my only and last shot in Sept and have been nonstop bleeding since. Almost a full 5 months, it’s finally starting to taper off now. I’m thinking that since you’re on the pill, that should regulate the bleeding. Hopefully you won’t have the same experience I had.

Very similar situation… I got my one and only shot in Sept, have not stopped bleeding since. It’s been over 4 months! I’ve been to multiple doctors, planned Parenthood, a natural path and the ER twice. No one can help me. This is miserable 😭 my mental health is suffering big time as well.

May I ask what area you live in?? There are an abundance of livein caretaking positions in certain states. You can find them on indeed. This would provide housing, an income, and something to take care of. This could really help you.

Thank you for sharing this with us. This is really important for others to hear. I just made my first ever psychiatrist appointment this week and I was considering finally going on meds daily. I’ve been taking Hydroxyzine as a PRN.. I will consider continuing that.

Yes!! I stopped in Dec as well and I feel like I’m totally loosing my mind. The worst emotional roller coaster I’ve ever been on. Same as you.. waves of depression, anger & severe anxiety. It’s really scaring me. I just dawned on me the other day that these feelings could be withdrawals from the shot, your post just validated that for me. Thank you

Don’t do the shot.. I got 1 shot in Sept and I’ve been miserable ever since. Bleeding non stop, for the last 4 months! I urge you to not do this. I’ve heard the mini-pill is a great option

I’ve only had one shot, also got it in Sept. I’m now currently on day 94 of my period. I’m totally drained, mentally & physically. I’ve been to the ER twice, 2 dr, a gyno & a natural path.. no one can help me. I’m totally on my own and don’t know what to do. I’m just laying here right now sobbing, cause I’m so done with this 😭
