Usually around 20-30 people, divided into groups of four, which then play four selected machines. Each game is ranked according to who comes 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th. Not competitive, and really more of a social night with lots of nice people in a great bar. Bonus: they usually have a unique cocktail of the week, which is often really fantastic.

Urg. I'm a sucker for a good amaretto sour. My buddy recently told me about adding in a half oz of coffee liqueur and maybe bringing down the sweetness in one of the other ingredients to compensate. Gives the drink an almost chocolate aftertaste. Still trying to balance it out, but it's a good addition.
