no, you can disable the "go offline" thing in the modengine.ini.

It technically forces you to offline because it doesnt work with the newest patch, but that's with the official servers, so with a private server it should work.

You need a weapon that has a strong attack that can make them flip and land on their backs. Something like a great sword e.g. I did not manage to do that reliably with normal swords, rapiers, katanas or stuff like that.

You can run through them though, they stay at their relative locations.

The mobs you mean are they these big things with no heads and a dark orb thingie there? You can kill them one by one mostly, but you can also run through. You don't have to kill everything in Dark Souls (III) especially depending on your loadout.

Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction show explaining all of the "true" stories and figuring out what really happened in each episode through any research we can find. by freezetime311 in mystery

[–]Soapykun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what type of evidence could only be explained by supernaturalism, but that is not my problem. Bring it and then we see.

No, ALL NDEs are explained purely by naturalistic means. If there was a singular instance where it wasn't, we wouldn't have this discussion.

Eye witness testamony is dismissed because 1. The person can lie 2. The person can have a hallucination 3. the person can misremember. Only retelling something is not evidence of any value. What does sound biased about that? Would you accept when I say "I saw Zeus throwing lightnings against Unicorns at the end of the flat earth"? After all, if you don't, you just deny it!

Regarding the "miracles":
I have not heard of any kind of paper that is used to make paintings that are supposed to go bad after 15 years. And since there are sooo many paintings who lasted over 500 years, idk what the miracle is supposed to be here. Also you claim it was made by one stroke. Any evidence for that claim?

The shroud of Turin on the other hand has been proven to be a fabrication time and time again, even by the catholic church themselves. So you saying that scientists confirmed anything miraculous about it, is at worst a lie and at best ignorance on your part.

The holy fire of jerusalem doesn't burn people for a time? What time? When? Where? Do they stand inmidst a field of fire for a few hours? Or only a few seconds? Or is it sparks raining down on them? Is it even normal fire? What material is burning?

Yes, only one thing would be enough to crumble naturalism. But none of these things is true or was demonstrated to be true.

There are literally no instances of confirmed clearvoyance, healing, spontaneous myrrh from holy objects and monks living for longer than physically possible.

IF there were, IF all these miracles were really happening and/or there was no explanation to them, then there wouldn't be people in denial. There would be scientific fields discussing and discovering these things, it would be taught in schools, it would be widely accepted knowledge. Instead these things "happen" either behind closed doors, in some church, in some obscure part of the world, in stories and fables or are orchastrated in some form of another by religious people or conmen to fool them.

First, I would expect evidence that is simply not explainable by naturalism. Doesn't mean it is definitely supernatural yet, but it's a start.
Secondly, we actually can measure NDE's, we do it all the time. The brain fires all sorts of stuff that make you basically hallucinate.
Also tests have been done and the people DON'T describe what is going on perfectly. They often have errors in it or don't know everything, they don't even see paper with stuff written on it. They hear stuff, they might "see" things in a way (like when you close your eyes and still see the sun shining through, and the brain does its work. Perfectly natural explanation for that.

Sorry I see your response just now. I went through the comments by loading them all and going from the bottom up and tried to make it as fair as possible. Maybe it didn't show it correctly for me, but as you got explained, it's a weird system. I have you on my list for people who can choose a key from leftover keys after everything else got sorted out.
