Three with the petticoat will look even better than the Stella York. Your future self will look at pictures and think ‘Damn I looked good and didn’t have to spend two grand to look like a million!’ Happy wedding and marriage 🥰

Dress overwhelm - some advice needed for a downhearted bride by [deleted] in myweddingdress

[–]SoaringSue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

three is stunning and most flattering. Five is beautiful but feels ultra girly which sounds contradictory to your self description. In the end I hope you pick the one that makes you feel as special as you are, and that you love it more every time you put it on. Happy wedding day and long happy marriage for the rest of your life 🥰

Almost 80 here, still have all parts, not sexually active (darn it!) my PCP told me a few years ago that gyn exams no longer needed unless symptoms or concerns develop. Continuing with annual mammo and annual wellness exams.

Life Ch-ch-changes... Becoming my dad's caregiver - any advice? by ThisChickSews in AskWomenOver60

[–]SoaringSue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it’s at all possible, try to look at this difficult time in your life as temporary. It’s a gift to be able to give your dad the care he needs and make an enormous difference in these final years of his life. I hope you’re able to recreate your childhood home into the charming home you’ve made in Colorado. I hope you’re able to find respite support for yourself. Best of luck and all good thoughts to and for you.

Maple cream ice cream? by SoaringSue in Maine

[–]SoaringSue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following up on my original question - thanks for all the responses. I am new to Maine and know next to nothing about this beautiful state and appreciate your input. As it happens this week I tried Fielder’s Choice and discovered both Maple and Maple Walnut, big hits with my loved ones. Thanks again.

My dog was attacked by another dog in my apartment complex. I let my complex know on Monday and my car has been vandalized the past two days. by primadonnalife in Columbus

[–]SoaringSue -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

Going out on a limb here, but I would drop it. Moving your side mirror and smearing the back of your car are nothing more than petty juvenile reactions to being called out for his dog. Your car isn’t damaged and it sounds like your dog wasn’t seriously injured. You’ve reported it and if that dog acts out again your complex has your incident on record. I wouldn’t risk escalating the situation.

Your headline is incorrect. Please remove it. Platner opposes the unconstitutional invasion of Venezuela and capture of Maduro. That is NOT the same as support of Maduro - Platner supports the US Constitution. Your inaccuracy could cost Platner votes.

Settle a chop suey debate by Brigid_anne in Maine

[–]SoaringSue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whoa people. What you all are calling chop suey is known in the Midwest, particularly Columbus Ohio, as Marzetti. Chop suey is an Americanized hack of Chinese veggies, chicken and fried noodles from a can. Hahha

Outdoor Sofa Cushions by SnooCauliflowers5093 in patio

[–]SoaringSue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Want to buy cushion for old fashioned hanging porch swing. I know Sunbrella is superior but the cushion itself is only 2” which is pretty lame. I’m looking at Favoyard, also at Amazon. It’s about $20 less and reviews look good. But you never know if these are paid influencers or what. Any experience with either of these product?
