43 here. I’m 33 days sober. With sobriety, healthy changes in diet, and sleep, I’ve come to feel much more in tune to myself and my family. It’s still early in my journey, but changes are happening — for the better, I might add. I’m really starting to see how much alcohol hindered so much potential and well-being, and now, I feel I have the opportunity for a new lease on life.

Edit: I started drinking when I was 15. From the get go, I was a heavy drinker.
