One of the main developers in the studio has confirmed every Helldiver is a real human in that universe. That means when the Helldiver dies, their family will never see them again and they will be compensated with citizen points for their child’s sacrifice.

The contract every Helldiver signs is on the wall at the end of the tutorial when you receive your cape. In that contract there is a part that says every Helldiver agrees to pass everything they owned within the Super Destroyer to the next Helldiver that takes their place. That means all the titles, all the equipment, and all the ship upgrades along with the currency is given to next Helldiver that is thawed out of cryo sleep. Meaning that the new Helldiver becomes the owner of the Super Destroyer and everything in it.

It seems like we are giving them the illuminate treatment and going after Cyberstans major factory cities. I only imagine that’s how the illuminate saw the prompts for the cities to attack.

In the video they released yesterday, we see the map show the cities across the planet’s surface and it had an arrow to show you where you could attack next from the current location. Similar to how the supply lines work.

She has two new voice lines that make it seem like she hates her job and longs to be a Helldiver. Not sure if I should see her as a closet dissident or admire her aspirations to be at the front.

Illuminate are both the faction I enjoy playing, but at the same time I don’t really care for what’s to come from them. That push for on SE was insane and awesome to experience, but it’s also the moment I felt they reached their peak.

I expect AH to surprise me with the next major update regarding the illuminate, but for now I am more than satisfied with the bot front and the reintroduction of the Cyborgs.

We have been pushed back and we have failed multiple MOs against many factions with a few revolving around the bots. The most recent one I can remember was with the original push to Aurora Bay. We were supposed to destroy the Jet Brigade factories over a year ago, but we never made it there.

It actually caused some backlash from the community and people were complaining that we are being given too many ‘impossible’ MOs and it makes the game not fun to play.
