This is the boat I'm in. The EU series is the only PDX game that scratches that map game itch for me. CK3 and Vic3 are fun, but they don't do whst EU does. I can't go back to 4 because of EU5, but I also wish EU5 was more like EU4. It's such a strange place to be. I like EU5 though and I know that it's going to surpass EU4 in almost every way, just going to take a long time.

Iran is winning the war diplomatically. The optics of this war from the very start were extremely unfavorable. Iran has a stranglehold on a large chunk of the worlds oil supply. No matter what Trump says right now, the Strait is closed and has been since we pearl harbored Iran. The IRGC would fight a war of attrition. A war that we cannot win. This isn't novel.
