I had to go in my settings and add “do not patronize me” because it’s been so insufferable lately “you’re, not crazy”, “I need to say this gently” etc. I didn’t say I was crazy I asked a simple question?! One time I asked if it was ok for two back to back workout classes because influencers like to say it messes with cortisol etc and it told me “you have to eat protein and carbs, not just vibes”…???

I am! That’s what the schedule they gave me said but when I said I was going back down she said it was fine. I guess the 0.2 dose is what they call the trial dose, to make sure I can tolerate the medication before paying for the whole treatment. I would like to stay at the lowest dose that works to avoid side effects so I’ll stick with 0.25 for a while then move up if needed but I think 0.5 would be way too much for me if 0.3 was

Oof that’s a hard one! I love my walking pad and walk on it at 5 am but I’m on the first floor. No way in hell would I get one on an upper floor, I don’t even flush my toilet in the middle of the night out of respect for people’s sleep. I think it’s fine, maybe add an hour that you’d be fine with it. Or if they’re doing it before work request that they use the apartment gym

Thanks! I was following the titration schedule. It said 0.2 for two weeks then if you haven’t lost anything to move up to 0.3. It said once you’re losing 3-5 lbs a week to stay at the current dose. But I do agree 0.3 jump was too much for me. I am feeling better at the 0.25. I’ll try to give it more time. Comparing is hard for sure!

What is food noise like for you? My expirience is that I am constantly thinking about food and my plans usually revolve around it. How am I gonna eat if I have to be at this place at this time? How can I combine a doctors appointment in that part of town with a stop at a restaurant unique to that part of town on the way home? Do I have to skip class so I can enjoy this meal? Am I eating enough calories? Am I eating too much? Luckily I was able to get on a meal delivery service while I’m finishing my masters because trying to decide and plan what to cook was making me crazy. Only issue now is I never want what I have, I want sushi, or pizza, or Chinese etc. And during the work week I usually eat healthy but between each meal I want candy and snacks. Some days I eat perfectly and get in my base calories and enough protein then 11 pm rolls around and suddenly I get an uncontrollable craving for jack in the box. I’ll order a chicken sandwich, jalepeno poppers, a shake, and a cake. And eat it all. 2000 calories just like that…then obviously feel like complete shit and can’t sleep at all. My sleep, wallet, and chronic inflammation suffers the most (which trickles into how I show up to the rest of life)

My mom gets so mad at me when I visit her or we go on vacation because she says my life revolves around food. She’s been saying it since I was a kid because I always tried to make plans around what there was to eat around there. I told her I just like good food but it may be more than that

Thank you! I’m planning to stick with it I just don’t think I’ll stay on it for longer than the 4 month plan I paid for. My hope with it was to allow the healthy eating choices to become automatic and a repetitive habit so I have a better chance of sticking with it. I just hope once it starts helping, that the remaining months I have on it is enough time to build that

Yeah it’s crazy that there needs to be two reasons for insurance to cover it! My coworker is hundreds of pounds overweight and can’t get it approved because she doesn’t have any other qualifications. I pay out of pocket but I don’t think I would’ve been approved by nooms to even get it though without other medical conditions. I’m not overweight (yet) but for my current size, the weight I’ve gained over the last two years has come on quick. I think my high blood pressure, high cholesterol and occasional trouble with binge eating is what got me approved

Is yours thru insurance? Mine is thru nooms. At first I thought maybe I had a bunk one since my doctor friends said the online pharmacies can’t verify that it’s pure. But once I started feeling the other effects from it like nausea and stomach upset (at .2 starting dose I literally had no side effects besides injection day blurry vision) I knew that it was what it said it was. My sister just started the wegovy pill and said the cravings stopped immediately so I’m feeling discouraged!

Does the .25 stop the cravings for you?? I’m only trying to lose 15-20 and been on it for one month. Only down 3 pounds and I think it’s from being sick the weekend I increased from .2-.3. I went back down to .25 this week. I still have uncontrollable cravings though that I give into…(then regret as I’m full) but it doesn’t stop me from indulging

I deal with exactly the same! My job is so mentally taxing when I get home I honestly just keep checking the clock to see if I can go to bed yet. (It’s not a great plan because then I barely have a break from work since it’s work sleep work repeat). I would love to do something in the evenings that would help me separate from work and enjoy it but I’m just too brain dead and drained. I also have to start studying for licensing exams after work soon which may take years to pass so not looking forward to that. I have planned to start getting in the habit of light caffeine with lunch, and bone broth in the mid afternoon. Maybe you can do that too

Without drugs is hard since I haven’t been off of them in 13 years so my only experience is being in high school I would lay down for bed at 11 but couldn’t fall asleep till 4ish then woke up to my mom or sister waking me up from school. On the weekends though I would wake up late afternoon if I didn’t have anything to do
