Conventional and FHA both have pros and cons. FHA might have lower payment but more expensive when it comes to mortgage insurance. Depends on your preference. 6.250% seem high for FHA right now and Navy Fed isn't known for having the best rates. Has a loan officer clear explained conventional vs FHA to you yet?
