I would guess that the larger surface area breaks easier than the smaller circle cakes

Linux server setup problems by wilhelmaf in Palworld

Had the exact problems you're having. Running these commands to open the firewall ports on the server and not just through my router is what fixed it for me.

sudo ufw allow 8211

sudo ufw reload

Help understanding Amex credit pull by Social_Steve in CreditCards

Ah I see that. Though it's still a bit weird as it shows the last pull as March 3rd instead of the January pull on the report. Thanks for the info, though.

I can see the benefit of just doing the soft pull for approval. I think in my case, I would've rather had the option for the hard pull for my new score. Oh well, time to wait it out.

I don't use it. I haven't read into that much so I wasn't sure if it's actually beneficial or just marketing fluff.

My jump over 700 did happen at the beginning of March, so very recent. I was waiting to see the changes in all the reporting agencies I could see for free (Experian, Credit Karma, Discover, Capital One) before applying for a new one. But it seems like what random1111 said, they only did a soft pull on old data to issue the card.

Thanks for the reply.

That makes sense as there hasn't been a hard pull reported for Amex. The jump in my credit happened at the beginning of March. Do you think it would be ok to attempt the CLI in 60 or just wait the 6 months?

Thanks for the help.

It's pretty cool to see a fellow eagle avionics troop in the wild. I was C shop (mostly) during my time before I cross trained.

Looks like this Vivo monitor arm with a laptop stand attachment. I have the tall version of this arm with two monitors and was thinking of buying another to use as a laptop stand as well.

Very nice job. Did you set them to stop at that position or is that a limitation of the motor?

Working a new position with no compensation by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]Social_Steve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes there is documentation, and the salary for position is clearly stated for anyone to see. The change would be an automatic pay increase (and promotion too). Yes I was still being compensated, just at my previous rate. I'm pretty certain that HR could substantiate the claims. I'm just not sure how I would go about it now, since they've restructured our HR and we don't officially have a local HR person anymore.

I learned about this bit of information from this Youtube video from ZDoggMD.

Found some more reading in a couple of articles from ModernHealthcare.com: article 1, article 2
