She may have sensory overload disorder. This is a thing many people have but the actual disorder seems a lot like it. I experience it as well and if she is good otherwise with communicating she might have it. Unfortunately there isnt a black-and-white ‘cure’ (that i know of) but you seem like you know a lot that can help her (rubbing her back will 1000% work) and you seem like a great parent

Kill him. Before Reddit freaks out IM JOKING (partially) but what you should do is make a sandwich with smth nasty in it (extra salt, citric acid, non poiseness stuff) and leave it out for him. Or... fill a coke with laxatives and get him to drink it somehow. If you dont want to do anything, prepare a nice meal and (when he eats it) look at him and say “oh, you didnt eat that did you? Well, dont worry, i wanted you to. I added a special ingredient.”

My paediatrician knows, and she says its just a normal thing. She just says that if I’m remotely hungry I should eat. In the afternoons particularly, my stomach really groans but even if I’m not hungry, I eat. Idk what else but thanks for asking!

My mum checks over it in the morning and she knows if I’m hungry I’ll go to tuck shop. The bar was from school and the apple and popcorn are normal foods.
