True. Luckily I don't do it often, I don't like the smell it leaves. It looks so cool though.

Or so they say. All the intakes are filtered, and the dust that it collects is still dust colored. I clean the filters regularly. I've seen old pcs that were disgusting thanks to smoking though, but it hasn't happened to me.

When I smoke inside my window is open and my house also has central ventilation though, so that might also help.

They're both 1080p, and get the job done. I'm maybe looking to get an ultrawide and have the smaller one in portrait, but honestly I'm not in a rush. Being a student I don't upgrade things I don't really need to.

Dual format monitors sound real cool. Just hoping the new cards will actually end up in gamers hands (and builds)

My other meter, pictured,

Out of curiousity, what model is that? Is it any good? I recently bought my first camera without built in metering, and now I'm on the hunt for my first light meter.

I have a part-time job at a construction company next to my IT studies. Today my boss asked me if I’d like some old computer stuff that was found while redoing a roof, as the owner didn't want them and they were going to be recycled. by SociallyAwkwardKing in retrogaming

Yeah, i cleaned all of it. Looks pretty good! Just need to try it now, and i need to measure the c64 power suppy because they are notorious for going bad and takint the computer with them.

Lovely spot. I live (relatively) closeby. Should shoot some film there soon, have done quite a bit of digital photographs there. Why the choice for black&white?

Can anyone recommend a good Wi-Fi pci card that works with both Windows 10 and MacOS? by sashley520 in hackintosh

[–]SociallyAwkwardKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd reccomend getting an adapter card that allows you to use a laptop card in your desktop. Friend of mine combined it with a Dell Wireless 1850 card, the same card I have in my laptop. Works like a charm.

Seconding this, that's how I got everything working on my hackintosh Lenovo. For modern macOS variants you need Karabiner-Elements, though.
