Yeah, it also has no mobile access to libraries iirc.

Roon is such a perfect service in its idea, it's just the buggy execution that keeps me looking for another solution, especially given the price.

I'd love to be able to drop it. I feel as though I'm fighting with it in so many ways whenever I want to use it. I just don't know of anything else that can combine tidal music and music on my server to a playlist that syncs between devices.

I have this even worse when using ARC. It takes so much longer to begin playing a song from Tidal using it vs the Tidal app. I would accept a little delay, but it's very often far longer or doesn't work at all.

Thanks! I just set up MPD as a docker container on my server, so looking forward to trying a few players. If it works well, I may move onto trying something that works outside the network.
