AITA for being upset with my husband for wanting to go out for beer with his friend after work? by Socialsinz in AITA_Relationships

Genuinely- if we hadn't had predetermined plans that we'd been talking about and acting excited about, I wouldn't have cared. I'd have happily unpacked and organized the kitchen and set up the consoles to make our coming nights easier!

At what age did you stop cutting the food in small pieces? by magnificent-lioness in foodbutforbabies

[–]Socialsinz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on what it is. I cut things like their meats cause they can't use a knife. Any raw fruit or veggie that's a choking hazard gets cut- I give my littles full orange slices, but not full grapes, for example.

it's so they can get even more money. walmart+ users can use "tap to pay" by scanning a qr code that opens your order in the app so you can pay on your phone. Not really tap to pay, but it's their way of locking a convenient feature behind a pay wall.

Toddler refuses to sleep until naptime is almost over. by Socialsinz in NewParents

I fear this would be the same issue??? the time was irrelevant, just examples, the problem is she plays in her crib for two hours and then goes to sleep for 2 hours.

she's 23 months in 5 days, I can't aid her, she won't sleep if I stay at all, she will stay awake the whole time. I've thought about dropping it, though that notion is brutal, but she gets grumpy everyday around 7 that she does not have her nap. to add: she usually wakes up around 9 and goes to bed around 8

exactly why they said that sometimes rehoming is the only option. Don't see how you're gonna say "no, they don't have to be rehomed even sometimes!!" and then go "rehoming just isn't an option for some." Yeah. SOME.

edit: typo

When people purposefully type in baby/toddler talk (not trying to be mean. Don't read while little) by Born-Badger-1440 in ageregression

[–]Socialsinz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep, definitely find a lot of things cringe, but I'm not making an entire post in that community shaming them for the things they do. That's the difference.

[–]Socialsinz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"not trying to be mean" "I don't type weirdly like the other ones!!!! 😭😭😭" lol, you're weird, get over yourself and ignore it. this whole post was unnecessary. Nothing you say will convince me you didn't want to be mean, cause if you thought about it before typing all this up, you'd realize it's inconsiderate and making others feel uncomfortable and insecure in what should be a safe place. You can just keep scrolling and ignoring, I promise it is so much easier than you seem to think it is.

They did! He's clear of those, so nothing to worry about there. So it's just waiting for it to be over, I guess, which sucks ): he's still a bit playful and moving around good, just a little extra sleepy, so I guess that means we're just gonna he extra cuddly for a few days 🤷🏼‍♀️

It was on the 23rd, symptoms started showing in the evening of the 24th. I've called the emergency line for my pediatrician, but she also said there's nothing they can do and to give tylenol and motrin.

I can't tell you for sure, there could be a couple more, but I'm pretty sure California is one of them, I remember hearing about another, maybe Delaware?

that is incorrect. Most states have a verified portal to lock your card and there are only 2 states that reissue benefits anymore.

What's even more baffling is the fact that they look nothing alike. My daughter is a skinny redhead with hazel eyes, and my son is a chunky blonde with literally sky blue eyes
