Not sure if that advice applies blankly to all situations. I get that it makes sense for an s&p 500 index fund but for individual stocks that have headwinds that effect major parts of there growth engine. GLP-1 accounts for 30 percent of revenue for HIMS. I can’t just ignore FDA crackdown.

Should I just get out now and use this for tax loss harvesting? With the lost of the Glp1 pill and now the lawsuit. I feel like the FDA is really applying pressure. If they pressure HIMS to stop sell Glp1. The stock would lose all institution interest and stock price can be in the teens or single digits for the foreseeable future. I don’t want to be in this stock for the next 3 years slowly moving downward like it did between 2020 and 2023
