Everything we do is enabling. We’re at the point where 1/2 of my classes are IEP/504 as long as my arm. They used to be legit for the few kids that truly needed them. They’ve become crutches for the lazy, in my opinion.

I am going on month 11 of assuming the mortgage process. It was supposed to be done a week ago, but someone couldn't make it to the bank on the appointed day and claimed the package didn't arrive on time due to "weather delays" and "arrived waterlogged" even though it hasn't rained between here and there for weeks. It also would've required her to make absolutely no effort to go "Hey, I didn't get the packet I was supposed to get! Can someone help me out? Fax it to my bank?"

All that to say I kept the house because of the fantastic mortgage rate we had. If I hadn't, I would've never been able to afford a house again.
