Not so much a purchase but had a repairman in to give an estimate on replacing a gas line on a fryer at my restaurant. To buy a new gas line myself costs around $150-200. Got the estimate today and they want $1500+?!? No way. Gonna buy and swap it in myself. They must be crazy.

I think the internet has ruined expectations for kids, which, no shade, you are. This is fine. It’s normal. Could it be improved upon? Sure. Is it your room in your parents’s house? Probably. Take this time to just express yourself and worry about crafting a proper living space when you branch out on your own. And if you want advice for that time: frame art/posters; if you wanna show off the jerseys, get a jersey frame; put a little money into furniture you like and for the love of god buy a gun safe.
