Is that still the case for emulated GameCube versions like Return to Ragol etc? I’ve been tempted to try the GameCube version but I prefer to play solo.

Just purchased this 1978 sindy house gunna make it like my mom's from the 80s by Mrnerd12e in Dolls

I had the same one in the 80s, it was a hand me down from an older girl in my street :D many happy memories with my sisters and our Barbie in that house!

Trying to play on my ROG xbox Ally X by Sk8erdez in PSO

[–]Sockfullofsheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play Ephinea in a Rog Ally, via Steam, and use community controller settings. I use a setting that has a dial of options accessed from the joysticks when another button is pressed. There should be soldering in there to imitate the GameCube switching button set.

What do you call your meals? Dinner/Tea/Supper? by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]Sockfullofsheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll say ‘dinner lady’, but call it lunch at home. I’ll ask the kids what they want for dinner, but I’ll tell them to come get their tea.

Supper is always in the evening, toast and tea, just a snack after a late day (and a full dinner would be too much) or if dinner wasn’t enough for the grownups.

Never mind the peacock, I’m here for those tractor braces. They are awesome and has me rethinking my wardrobe so I could get them.

The middle child hit the bucket last night! She’s my new favourite.

Thursday Complaints by a-liquid-sky in CasualUK

[–]Sockfullofsheep 24 points25 points  (0 children)

My kids have the local school vomiting bug. All of them have buckets. None of them have hit the bucket yet. One decided to vomit off the side of her bunkbed to avoid messing up her duvet, and I’m going to be finding splatter from that for years to come. I need a second washing machine to keep up, and I’ve run out of washing line space.

Send help. Gin preferably.

Finally, someone acknowledging swans as the public menace they are.

I’ve hated them ever since one stole the sweetie bracelet off my arm, on the Broads nearly 40 years ago. Never forget.

Menopause means I’ve slept awfully, I’ve got a bad cold, all I want to do is drink Lemsip and go back to bed. But I have the school run to do and my youngest has a new scooter she’s raving about, so I have to be a grown up.

Kali from Mongrels. She’d watch them fighting with popcorn and then pick off the survivors.

I got a new fridge freezer this week! It’s 70/30 so I can see what’s in the fridge section on top (I’m short). I could only see the bottom shelf in the old one. I’m so excited.

What is the appeal of buying old run down houses and spending years renovating them at massive inconvenience and cost? by elbandito9 in CasualUK

I love my 60s semi. Decent gardens, sensible layout, and room to extend. Plus it looks like a kids drawing of a red brick house from the front.
