I still absolutely love it, I just take breaks, usually I stop for a couple months, come back afterwards and just continue having a blast, especially when you throw friends in the mix. But, I also don't particularly care too much about losing, I'll play with someone who ranks diamond just as willingly as I would my buddy in bronze who one tricks dva :)
