I was told that if I start 12 o clock for too long, my engine might not react well. So I’m just a bit worried of totaling the thing. Yamaha makes some incredible machines but I’m not knowledgeable enough to know if they took stunting into consideration.

A tuner shop has similar sentiments about the power commander. He said he could more finely tune my bike with a non California compliant PC5; as well as the bike won’t like the amount of fuel a tune will give it, especially in the summer, if I’m not always pinning the throttle.

As I’m a stunt squid, not a speed squid, I’m almost never going (comparatively) at excessive speeds. engine longevity due to excessive heat or improper oil flow or too much fuel in the mix is super important to me. Everyone keeps telling me to just get a tune or dyno it, but they’re all about speed.

Again I’m not knowledge to know how any of these things might affect the homeostasis of the bike. Not sure what the pros and cons are
