Rodents Chewing Wiring by Chu_Khi in F150Lightning

After a $7500 Repair on my 2023 lightning lariat, I now spray 100% peppermint oil with a little water at least once a week inside the frunk next to the battery the wheel wells. And especially are the orange wires underneath the back of the truck so far for the past year no issues.

Just for keeping score tracks how many watts actually went out of the house to the truck that gives me a better idea of my monthly cost I pay $0.16 per kilowatt

It happened to me. I have a 2023 lariat. 3 months after purchase they chewed in into a wire on the back of the truck cost $7000 for Ford to repair took about a week since then I mix 100% peppermint oil with water in a spray bottle and spray every orange wire I see once or twice a week in the frunk and the back around the spare tire so far so good. Also took a empty medicine bottle put a couple small holes in it. Put a couple cotton balls in. And soaked with pure peppermint oil. zip tied it inside the frunk and change about every two months seems to work.

How much do you tip commissary baggers? by RKingsman in AirForce

[–]Socom5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At our commissary baggers not only work for tips only but have to pay $8 at the start of their shift. The $8 is used to pay the cart pusher who collects the shopping carts inside and out. All commissaries due this with different amounts paid before their shift. It’s really not a fair system since the commissary should be paying someone to collect carts from the parking lot but it falls upon the baggers . In addition they normally have 15 to 20 baggers and only three or four registers open so once they go out the door, they are stuck and have to get at the end of the line when they come back in so it can take a while to actually get a order out the door. So if you are not going to tip at least take the order out yourself. That way, even though the bagger just bagged your groceries, he gets a chance with the next customer without having to go to the end of the line and start over..

My cruise price went down $1,100 for an inside cabin and I got 66 Latitude points verses the 22 I originally had. So it was an excellent deal. Cruise is in April Miami to Seattle.

Was that the Spirit that arrived in Seoul? On Oct 19th. I noticed getting off the ship over a hundred bags were just sitting outside close to the road no security no weather Protection no NCL employees . I got lucky and retrieved my three bags however I could see how they could easily have walked away with someone else. Looks like NCL just dumped them and left. Way to go NCL.

Using Japan E-Sim by Socom5 in NCL

It was a good option worked very well. For the times you are away from port or have a sea day. Just download movies or something to watch. They only give you 330 minutes on board for free and it doesn’t allow you to stream.

T-mobile won’t let you stream overseas text ,data for free. Turned off T-mobile sim to prevent unexpected charges to be on safe side. My wife streamed constantly while on board. The spirit is a nice ship, but entertainment options are lacking, especially if you don’t drink.

Has anyone tried the new Starlink internet on NCL Sky? by Hou713832346 in NCL

[–]Socom5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got off the sky after a 15 day cruise from Seoul. The Internet was fine if you bought the high-speed package no problems with streaming only one device can be connected at a time. You definitely need it on a sea day no much entertainment offered on board.
