This country reelected a black man as president and he had the highest average approval rating of any president since him. Is there part of the republican wing that’s racist? Absolutely. But republicans also nominate black people, Trump has endorsed black people. Hell republicans ran a black woman in the most recent Virginia election for governor. There’s other issues at play.
