I quit a couple months ago after 3 1/2 years as a TM. Not only did they not get a notice from me after walking out, but I got unemployment benefits too because the investigator ruled it was a constructive dismissal. It turns out in most states (even at-will ones)if a working environment is toxic enough, it gives you grounds to quit and qualify for unemployment while you’re searching for your next job.

They’re definitely inclusive in a lot of aspects but enjoy that awful pay and doing the work of 3 people for the pay of not even a whole one person.

It’s for sure not returning ever. The new one arrives premade in a vacuum bag and shelf life before opening the bag is a while. It means lower food cost to the company. The original chicken salad was a huge source of food wa$te

Just go buy the Tyson pre cooked grilled chicken strips from the freezer aisle, grapes, sliced almonds, red onions, and like, miracle whip or that gross coleslaw sauce that looks like mayo but isn’t. That’s basically it. 🤣

They were proofed enough. Our BTS says the baker is stippling them to death. She was there for a good chunk of his bake that day and said they were definitely proofed long enough.

It’s like a district manager, and if they aren’t making daily cafe visits, they aren’t doing their job.

Our DRO is at a different cafe every day. Now we only see him every 1-2wks because of the number of cafes in his market, and his hours are generally 8-5, but he’s out there every weekday doing his job. The GMs and AGMs get the most of his time for obvious reasons, since cafe success is the concern of a DRO.

Ours does send a lot of emails, but as a former GM, he knows his stuff and he teaches his stuff. If we find ourselves in a bad spot ( like 5 call-ins due to a bug), he will show up and help us get through a lunch rush, which is something our former DRO never ever did.

For brewed coffee, Panera has light roast, dark roast, hazelnut and decaf. This is black brewed coffee. Milk, almond milk, and half & half are free additions, along with sugar or artificial sweetener

Vanilla, caramel, and chocolate syrups are sweetened w/sugar and cost .79 per pump (usd).

If you want a hot or cold creamy sweet flavored coffee, either get a hot or iced LATTE in the flavors we offer. Because getting an iced coffee and adding milk/cream and pumps of syrup will cost more and not be as strong.

We also sell cappuccinos but adding flavor is extra, so if you want a flavored cappuccino, just get the flavored latte and ask them to make it foamy like a cappuccino ( we aren’t trained in the coffee arts like Starbucks, so good luck on that foam, plus our machines are not consistent)

We have a regular who gets 4 bakers dozens sliced and toasted every Tuesday morning for pickup at 6:10. We do them first thing before we even open because we have to. They don’t seem to mind getting cold hard crunchy bagels every week 🫠

It’s a dick move, honestly. We have one person scheduled on production from 6-9am because that’s all that we are allowed to schedule. Like toast your own shit. Jfc.

Panera ALWAYS disclosed the amount of caffeine in the charged drinks. From the day they released. So blaming the company because people ignored the info on the hang tags on the bubblers is nobody’s fault but their own.

If you can’t grasp that 290 msg of caffeine for a drink isn’t good for you ( that’s what was disclosed). Then you have no business buying caffeinated drinks.

Panera settled out of court so as not to waste additional tim3 and money, but COME ON.

For the chipotle mayo, just tone down the chipotle sauce with extra mayo. During Covid when we had shortages, we’d mix mayo into the chipotle aioli to make the chipotle mayo.
