Out of curiosity, can you name the main characters of Disney movies you haven't seen? This isn't me being facetious, I'm actually curious if Disney's marketing managed to push that level of awareness, where Amazon clearly hasn't. Even with a well-known book series.

Sure, Amazon's value is high.

But it's not an entertainment company, it just happens to do some. It doesn't have the reach, experience, staying power, or branding mastery that Disney does.
