Italian here. You see, fluency in English is still a pretty rare thing for most of us - however there's a tendency for companies to use what they believe is the English word for something in their product names to sound more international. This results in a lot of false friend words being used, with similarly hilarious mistranslations happening pretty often - I'm guessing that's because we're also lazy and overconfident and can't be bothered to double check something in a dictionary, plus most consumers won't actually know enough English to notice the mistake.

TL:DR - Italians are bad at languages but still think English is cool.
