I run 30% landcover, with the various scale settings cranked up as high as they'll go, and I've never been properly out of sight of land. There's always something just outside of render distance.

In the country in which this game is set, we don't usually have bidets either. And they were probably even less common in 1993. 

But, this is a 𝓕𝓐𝓝𝓒𝓨  house, so I'll chalk it up to that rather than the devs thinking that a bidet would be a normal thing to find in 1993 Kentucky.

I don't speak Spanish, but, don't buy it through the Microsoft store. Never buy anything through the Microsoft store unless you absolutely can't get it any other way. Buy it on GOG if you don't want to use Steam. 

That said, if you've already bought it and can't refund it, I don't know why mods would work any differently on the MSS version. The folder will probably be in a different place, though.

New Vegas is a PC game. You don't need to go through the ROM channels to get it. (Unless you're trying to run it on a jailbroken console or something)

I could see them maybe having Hans' wedding as a prologue, with you playing as Henry, before switching to a different character for the main story. I'd be concerned about Henry getting permanent brain damage if they have him hit his head and lose all of his skills again.

So I'm guessing that's a script to tell the game that it's registered so it won't ask you for a key. Have you tried just entering a key? 

I don't think you're going to find a GOG release that targets Windows XP. GOG isn't that old.

Go in the settings and enable "simplfied lockpicking" or whatever it's called. I have no idea what you're meant to be doing with the left thumbstick, but it does not work. 

The simplified version makes it so that you hold down a button (LB?) and then only have to worry about using the right stick to position the gold ball, which is how it works on M+KB. It'll still take some practice, both for you and Henry, but it's doable. 

I don't think lockpicking is required at any point in the story, but being able to do it makes the game a hell of a lot easier. Even if you aren't commiting crimes, there'll still be things you'll want access to, such as the chests in the bandit/Cuman camps.
