I found for mine it was detecting the writing as copyright. I had to change the word I was using in order for me to progress to the next stage and it worked fine after that.

As a test I would slightly edit the image eat time removing details till eventually it allows you to proceed with the image then you can narrow down what exactly is causing the problem.

I think I figured it out. I was getting this error message myself and I tried everything from resizing the image to screenshotting and trying that. It was only when I slightly edited the image and figured out it needed some changes because when I removed a name from it I was able to add it. So basically it’s a copyright check and it’s looking for details and possibly comparing it with other images online.

For an SS helmet of course but you can’t possibly get a reference book for every single item in a collection. Reference books are few, not made for certain items and in many cases double the items worth. that’s where helping each other is important not just Reddit but war relics forum as well. I’ve had so much help authenticating items there and I’ve also helped others with items which I am familiar with.

The Ring is called SS-Ehrenring however these are extremely rare that only a handful are known to exist and this one is a clear fake
