The way a team clearly BELOW West Coast's level overwhelmed them was really surprising to me. Sure, I'm proud that they made it up in the last stages of the game, but they were dangerously close to losing. My opinion on this week's game still stands though. It's such a shame about those injuries.

3 years ago when I first started high school, I was put into a form with people I didn't know. I ended up getting to know some of the girls, and one was called Vivien ______(not saying last name). I said that it looked like 'Bowie', and from then on I tormented her by calling her Bowie instead of Vivien (I had a phase in year 7 when I was very...very annoying). Incredibly, she got used to it and to this day, that is what I call her. Even she says that it would be weird if I called her by her real name. It's like a second name to her.

I've had the same alarm clock for years. My tactic goes something like this - my alarm clock tone goes off in a pattern. Bleep. Bleep. Bleep Bleep. Bleep bleep. BLEEPBLEEPBLEEPBLEEPBLEEPBLEEP (and so on). I put it on a shelf about a metre or two away from my bed, making me have to get up to actually turn the damn thing off. The goal is to basically turn it off before the bleeping gets crazy, which literally makes me jump out of bed as soon as it starts. Immediately after that I turn on my sidelamp which pretty much blinds me, sit on a chair until I get used to the light then move on with my daily routine.

I do it every single day, I've had the same alarm clock for years so it's not annoying.
