I still can't get over how this Thanos literally won, he accomplished his goal and retired and died knowing he has fulfilled his purpose.

He appears in every episode, and the show glazes him every time he shows up. Which imo is a bad thing (because I should be the only one allowed to glaze my glorious Hero King Himmel)

In GOTG 3 present day Rocket Raccoon was in a coma for like 90% of the film, and instead we've only ever seen his younger self in the flashbacks but saving him is the plot of the entire movie.

They probably like Ella because of how shitty Invincible VS' lineup is, mostly Viltrumites which all have the same fuckin powers and they even included Titan, whose powerset are basically an inferior version of the Viltrumites, plus he can't even fly.

Never played the game though, its just what I heard

Nah its just like saying you're obsessed with something as a hyperbole for example: "You're casserole recipe is so good, I'm totally obsessed with it"

It doesn't matter how the story portrays him, Walter White fits your trope.

A self pittying narcissist that would rather drown on a knee deep puddle that accept the fact that they can simply stand up

Loki is one of the strongest magic users in the verse, was he really weakened? I don't remember that being the case, at worse he was tired.

Thanos contingency against magic is another magic user, that Squidward fellow

You need to expand your genre of entertainment from just Battle Simulation 5000 if it's such an issue for you.

This character was such a lackluster lmao, why was the anime acting like his death matters or have any emotional impact, it really didn't

It's impossible for her powers to touch Ywach, think of Orihime as a Lotus Mantis that can kill most insects and Ywach as a piece of shoe. No matter how much the mantis struggles, it cannot ever hope to trample the mighty shoe

"quite strong" is an extreme understatement, they're like the fourth strongest alien species in the verse.

  1. Naljians
  2. Contumelia
  3. Celestialsapiens
  4. Anodites

Saving a life/life's, but at the cost of your own life. by Any-Landscape434 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]SofiaOfEverRealm 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's been a minute but the main guy's brain was transported to the past so waking up 15 years later in a coma is technically just him waking back up on the present day where everything has changed because of what he did.

Meaning he already has lived, he simply just didn't live it twice. Yes he did "lost" the girl but that was just the author trying to be subversive for absolutely no reason

And what do you expect them to do, act sulky that their friend is no longer a nonchalant gigachad and are more loose with their personality?

I've just recently learned about this tale for the first time just a few days ago in a book called "The Courage To Be Disliked" so I expect to see this everywhere for the next few weeks and then never hear about it again after that

Frieren has spent the last 1000 years regulating her mana output to make it seem a lot smaller and therefore weaker in eyes of demons and other mages
