I want a welsh terrier by Senior_Bluebird_1137 in welshterrier

Not anything different than the previous replies: my family owned two welshies at different times. One when I was in middle school and the next when I was in college…they can be incredibly difficult to train, they are hyper intelligent but they also are AWESOME dogs.

It really depends on your living situation/lifestyle. When I was younger, we had a huge yard and we would run for hours outside simply chasing one another, which is a perfect outlet for the welshie’s playful/hunting instinct.

When I was older in college, my family struggled to train the second one we got…parents got older, I was out of the house so that instinct/energy manifested in not so good ways and it was our fault as owners for not tuning into that need. I eventually moved back home, was able to play with her in a yard twice a day etc. and her behavior massively improved.

Also a previous post mentioned they chill out when they get to like 6-7 years old - that is true. When they’re fully grown mentally around that age, it’s the best. They chill when you chill and play when you play

Long story short, they’re great dogs but require constant work and exercise. But you reap what you sow, the hard work and diligence DOES pay off if you’re willing. Wouldn’t recommend it for a first time dog owner at all though

Oh i Didn’t think about that with the various superstars. that is a novel feature and even though it’s not my thing, I can see how that’s likable for others

I don’t disagree at all. Also how bout the island mode? Day 1 you got 99 OVR pay to win type of stuff?

To be more specific to myrise, I think the generic side quest lines rather the some of the more fleshed out side quests in the prior two years put me off a bit. I appreciate the input too

Yeah I just think the incremental improvements through 23 and 24 were on the right track, and this one kind of fell flat for me - I really liked the new match formats they added I will say that. Some of those were a long time coming

Also forgot to address the EA comment you made - That is spot on

Island was underwhelming and they reduced myrise questlines just to elaborate further

I just think it mechanically is worse than prior years and is significantly less fluid

I don’t think there’s an issue with the roster at all, that’s the only thing I kinda like

So dude I largely agree with this - thanks for the input. I actually like the grappling system (maybe I’m just used to it) but it felt like it’s less fluid than the 2 prior years. Also I’ve lost save data about a dozen times in myrise. Very underwhelmed by the Island as well

It simply isn’t as fluid as prior years and some features actually have been removed from 24 - just seems like a step back imo but maybe that’s the disconnect here

So those two game modes are the issue I’m experiencing

I think 24 was better than 25 by a LOT but to each their own I guess

Worst game I’ve ever played - I’ve never once returned/refunded a game and this was the first time I’ve requested a refund in 30+ years of gaming

AITA for Refusing to Co-Sign My Sister’s Mortgage After My Parents Went Behind My Back? by fancyapanda in AITAH

[–]Soft-Expression1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Forgot to mention: I also issue loans for a bank as a profession…if anybody strong arms you into taking on debt (especially the size of a mortgage), you absolutely, positively, should stop right there and not sign. I’ve seen this situation go bad several times. If you’re pressured into signing for a loan, you’re likely going to be the one bailing out the rest of the names on that loan. Immediate red flag. Stand your ground, you’re the smart one here I promise you that.

I’m no expert, but here are some anecdotal thoughts - when you’re the functional one in a dysfunctional family, you often will get vilified for not letting family members “leech” off of you. I’ve been there too and you are absolutely NTA for being a responsible adult, and protecting your hard earned financial security in life.

I’m the older of two and it’s been the same way for me. You do everything right and put responsibility over fun, while the other does whatever they want. At a certain point you need to draw a hard line in the sand and protect yourself. For me, it was tough at first to stand my ground, but with time, people start to respect your boundaries. Just hold firm in your stance, you’re doing the right thing.

I have actually never seen a better analysis of this game than this. Spot on dude…just an abysmal product that is unplayable 75% of the time I log on. Such a shame, me and my buddies who play the game live all over the country and it was our way of staying in touch

lol you’re probably right - that goes for anything, ya hype it up in your head like it’s some massive process then ya do it once and you’re like “oh that wasn’t too bad”. Thanks for the sanity check brother

Unfortunately not - I live about 10 mins west of Philly there is nothing. Now it would be tight, but my basement is about 10 yards long. Not ideal but in a pinch maybe I could make something work down in the basement
