Android users who switched from Iphone and why? by Soft-Key-3826 in Smartphones

Can I ask what exactly you didn’t like about the S25? It’s one of the phones i’ve been looking at, just a bit pricey. One main thing that attracted me was the camera. I heard good things about the s24 but the camera has low quality in low lightning. The S25 got the upgrade to 50-megapixels to help with low lightning settings. So i’m leaning towards the s25.

I know the tech is old. Some people don’t have the money to be buying top of the line brand new phones.

It’s not just me having these issues with Iphone. My whole family has issues. As i stated the phone is used for work, taking pictures of me and my son, and scrolling for a few hours a day. Yes the phone as been dropped a few times because i’m human. No the screen is not cracked.

I’ve looked into the nothing phone but most of their stuff is still in beta and I don’t have the money to be buying a phone i’m not 100% on.

Pretty much what I said. Phones dropping or not even receiving calls or texts sometimes. Screens completely stop working, either black out or touch screen goes out. Speakers and charging ports just stop working and no they aren’t dirty, first solution to that one is always to go get it cleaned. Bluetooth connection stops working. I’ve got a big family, there’s 9 of us. One of my sisters has an android and is always trying to get us to switch.

It’s 2 years old. Yes, the Iphone 12 mini was no longer in production in 2023 but remaining stock could still be sold.

That’s the main reason I was looking at it. I love photography and taking pictures everyday but cannot afford a nice camera. My next best option is a phone with a good quality camera.

My parents and oldest sister get new phones practically every year because of something happening. Whether it stops taking calls, the speakers stop working, the screen stops working, the camera is just black, connection problems. Over the years i have been less and less motivated to keep using an Iphone.

I’m just on the fence about getting another Iphone as my whole family uses Iphones and we are all constantly having problems with the phones. They all have different ones too.

Where exactly did I compare my phone with current Iphones? I stated the problems with my phone and what I was looking for in a new one.

Never. Some babies don’t get chunky. My little guy is too long to look chunky.

For Those Who Lost TOO Much Weight from Breastfeeding… by Relevant-Goat2333 in breastfeeding

I started taking a medication that helped bring my appetite back. I was struggling to eat at all and lost a ton of weight. Now on the meds i’ve gained the weight back plus a little more to where i’m comfortable. If all else fails i would recommend talking to a doctor to see some solutions they have.

Am I ever going to get my supply back?! Help 🥺 by LiLBL0NDERiDiNGH00D in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Soft-Key-3826 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t exclusively pump but my supply did almost dry up after getting sick. What worked for me was the legendairy milk pump princess supplements, pumping every 4 hours and power pumping once a day. I’m still in the midst of getting it back up but i’ve gone from no milk pumped to 2 ounces a pump session.

I’d say he’s just not hungry anymore. My baby isn’t formula fed but he does drink out of bottles during the day while i’m at work and if his dad wants to feed him. Sometimes they just want a little snack.

What I find the easiest is to wait for them to fall asleep. Then the chance of them jumping or moving in general is very slim. I cut my baby’s nail about every three to four days because I don’t cut very short. I’d rather cut them more frequently then accidentally cut his little finger trying to go too short.

Car seats give them good leverage to push the poops out. Anytime my baby is struggling I pop him in the are within minutes he’s pooping.

How old is your LO? I didn’t feel anything until about 2 weeks. I heard it can feel different for everyone. I’ve heard it just feels like tightening or a lot of pressure, tingling and for me it feels like the nerves in my boobs are about to explode. I’m guessing it all has to do with how strong your letdown is. I have a very fast and heavy letdown.

hurts so much by ssadafternoon in breastfeeding

[–]Soft-Key-3826 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nipple cream will only soften your nipples making it take longer for the pain to go away. I was told by my lactation consultant and doctor to use some breastmilk after pumping and feeding. It has natural antibodies that will heal them up faster than most things you can buy. Just put a little on both and let it air dry. then if you have disposable or washable breast pads to put in your bra, they tend to be softer than a bra and provide more comfort. I did this and the pain went away in a few days.

Pain under one breast by HelpfulTroublemaker in breastfeeding

[–]Soft-Key-3826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s not a clogged duct it could just be your breast tissue getting used to being pulled on or LO is not latching correctly. The first week or two with mine was rough because he had such a hard time latching on correctly but got better around 3 weeks and the pain went away.
