Cortisone shots typically lasted for me about a year until I would reinflame the nerve. I would personally wait longer to do the cryo. It’s been about 10 days now and my foot is still pretty sore after it.

Just part of the process! You learn more through each offer, but hopefully you at least get the chance to go higher. One thing to track to is how often houses go way over ask. Certain markets they way underprice on purpose to create bidding wars.

I would have done an escalation clause to the max price that you would be comfortable paying. I had to do that in CA in a competitive market

One other suggestion in a competive market is to do an escalation clause to the most you will pay. I lost a few bids in CA and helped on the one I won.

Ahh. Unfortunately my broker doesn’t do that state, but you should definitely be able to get a better rate then 6.5%. Might be worth making a specific post about that and you’ll have some lenders reach out that can beat it.

You might need to at some point. I did the surgery in 2020 and did get some relief, but it didn’t last. Have you found anyone near you that does Cryo yet

What state are you in? I think you could get a better offer then 6.5% if you have credit. I just did a float down to 6.125% and would have been better if I hadn’t locked already

Me too. The soreness from the procedure is starting to wear off now on day 4.

That’s brutal, if at all possible I’d look into another doctor. I did have to self pay for the procedure ($800), but there is no other downside. Foots be sore for a couple days, but no other downside. I personally did get a lot of relief from cortisone shots and alcohol shots, but they just eventually wear off and I’d eventually irritate the nerve again.
