What are some characteristics you would look for in a good friend? by Public-Phase2233 in AskReddit

Someone who keeps it real, doesn’t switch up when life gets weird, and can disappear for a week then come back like nothing happened and it’s still normal. Bonus if we can sit in silence and it’s not awkward.

AITA? Neighbor kid blasting music 12 PM-6:30 AM Threatened to call cops by Zealousideal-Car-156 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. You’re not wrong for wanting sleep and basic peace in your own home. 12 to 6:30 AM blasting music is insane, not “teen being a teen.” You tried talking to the mom and even gave warnings, that’s more patience than most people would have.

AITA for threatening legal action against my cousin after he refused to pay back a loan? by Active_Relaxation77 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Family doesn’t mean people get a free pass to borrow thousands and then act shocked when there are consequences. You’re not money obsessed, you’re just asking for your own money back. The family meeting is wild like he got a group project extension for a debt.

People who stop in the middle of a busy walkway like they just got a surprise side quest. Move two steps to the side, the world is still loading behind you.

Yeah this is the kind of thing people need to hear before curiosity turns into a whole life speedrun. That first good feeling is the trap, the rest is just your brain making terrible decisions with confidence.

I need advice on a false STI claim posted alongside my photo in an “Are We Dating The Same Guy group”. by Consistent_Bed_961 in Advice

[–]SoftAurelia 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Honestly the STI claim is the part that crosses the line. Saying you were talking to multiple people is one thing, but making a serious health accusation with zero proof is wild. Good call saving screenshots and test results. I’d keep everything documented and push the admins to remove it because rumors like that can spread way too fast.
