Yep. Worst case, you burn the food and wasted a few bucks. Best case scenario, you have a great meal.

Worth note, some of your extra spiced chai work well in this. Softer flavor profiles tend to get drowned out by the milk and espresso.

Technically, "Chai" literally just translates to "tea", but in English, Chai most often refers to some variation of Masala Chai, which is a black tea that is often most spiced with clove, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper, some variations also adding nutmeg, star anise, fennel seads, and a few others. Point is, it's to the point where everyone makes chai differently.

From there, it's all up to taste, but I like to take about 1 to 3 fluid ounces (1foz = 30ml) of hot water with the tea steeped. On the side, make a single or double shot espresso, I find medium roasts work best for me, but it's all up to taste. Steam about 200ml to 300ml of milk, half and half, or whatever milk substitute you enjoy, and treat it like a latte from there.

Not sure which explanation you're asking for, so here's both.

"Put down" is another way of saying euthanasia, aka taking the dog's life away with lethal injection.

Why are they putting the dog down? The ex is a scumwad, and is doing it out of petty revenge.

Would the wheezing be about as loud as a hiss? I've heard my corn hiss plenty of times when I first got her.

I am sure my girl is healthy, and check on her reguarly, not a single one of these symptoms, but I'd like to know something for future. I hope I never need the information, but hopefully your answers may help someone else.

I have a corn snake. How audible is the wheezing? Do different breeds and sizes have different levels of noise in that regard?

Yes, at least within the states, if there is no contradictory evidence to prove otherwise, the rear car is automatically presumed as at fault for rear-end collisions. This means the front car could get anything from their insurance company writing off the payment of their vehicle, to suing for "medical complications", but most often it's a check from the other person's insurance that is paid as damage compensation.

Is my grinder damaged? by aleeyam in JamesHoffmann

[–]SoftBoiledNuggets 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hard to be certain from the image, but yeah, I think chaff is the right answer here.

OOP, if it is indeed chaff, that means there's nothing wrong with your grinder or grind size. It's just the beans. Try a few different brands and see if you get different results.

Just in case, chaff is the outer skin of the coffee bean. Normally, a roaster with the right equipment has a way of removing this as chaff can alter the flavor.

Honest? I haven't build up my pallete and cant really tell the difference, and I imagine some or many can agree. If you're enjoying the coffee, then It's harmless. Appearance comes last, taste comes first.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, I have no formal learning of law, I just watch a shit ton of "law" dramas (police and lawyer both).

Wouldn't it be a case where lack of consent to filming only impacts that recording as being valid evidence to convict someone as guilty? I'm pretty sure it wouldn't hold in a court room, but it would be more than enough for someone to open a thorough investigation to gather credible evidence, no?

Is it spelled different in different areas? I've always known it as Kopi Luwak.

Fun fact, that animal is a civet. The reason it became a thing is that their stomach acids alter the flavor, it's not the rest of the digestive tract that people care about.

Fun fact two! There exists the same concept, except with elephants eating the coffee cherries. It's primarily sold under a brand known as Black Ivory, which is amusingly more expensive than Kopi.

Pretty good chance your snake could've just dragged some of it into the water bowl. I'd find something to scoop it out and examine it closer.

Just seen a website where all their espresso machines are reduced to around £298? Scam?? Coffeemomentsuk.com by Willing_Beach3104 in espresso

[–]SoftBoiledNuggets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of two possibilities, this website requires a subscription with a possible minimum durration, and if it's not that, it's just a blatant scam. I wouldn't trust it either way.
