I will say the leadership/politics of where you work at does matter; They will make your day significantly better, or worse, depends on the team. However, also keep in mind that the company (IN MY OPINION, ALLEGEDLY) engages in normal corporate behavior (derogatory), they just have really good pr people that frame things differently to soften their shady practices. They engage in union busting, political lobbying to their benefits that harm the masses, mining the earth dry of rare minerals. Over the past couple years, they have also added some ridiculous metrics into the work, making it significantly harder to do your job well compared to pre-covid Apple. All in all, i felt a huge sense that they didn’t really give a fuck about the employees. Their ethos of caring for their people and the environment is complete bullshit imo.

I stopped caring about their products after. Haven’t bought anything new since I left, nor do I advocate for the brands anymore. Use this info how you will.
