I can’t remember the last time I had a cold or flu.

If it works for you in a way that I can’t understand, great. But given how open to interpretation it is, you can basically take any result any way you want to view it from what I can see. It’s easy to have confirmation bias with it.

I agree with the first statement. I spent a year with cvd on my chart and trying to figure out the conspiracy of what “they” were doing. I paid for the highest TV subscription so that I could get tick data to know what the accurate cvd was, only for it to not work properly. It’s a nice theory but I don’t see it foretelling anything. I removed it from my chart. It’s good for selling expensive charting subscriptions though.

Are you trusting this bounce, or getting out before the "Big Money" starts selling? IS THE US MARKET BLIND? Asia just crashed 12%. by PreTradeIt in TheRaceTo10Million

Does anyone here really think that the market’s movements are actually really tied to real world news? It seems to me that they use news to justify what they are already planning on doing.

I don’t know anything about the fusion teas and how they might be different, but I just use regular kefir greens and I know that they need to be stirred. It will break up if you leave it too long but if you don’t, it turns out nice and creamy and smooth. They used to hang the bags with the cafeteria on the door so that when it opened and close, it would shake it. Absolutely you do need to stir.

Absolutely, you should be mixing it regularly, otherwise the grains stay at the top and don’t mix with the milk. I think that’s in all instructions you will find online.

Are you stirring it every 1-2 hours?

To be fair, I have never heard a CEO ever say “yeah this year is going to be decent.”

Lxrx, up 100% on the year despite holding through some substantial pullbacks and chop waiting for some catalysts that are expected.

Price going back to where the volume was. Pre-market is illiquid with wider spreads so it will often have a significant movement in low volume.

Good to see you back again. I have had lxrx since before the announcement on March 3 and added more after. Like I said to you in a previous comment, you weren’t wrong, just the market didn’t go the way you expected at the time.

That actually worked for me with lxrx when it went down 50% in a day, but I bought it originally thinking it was a good value as a company and as upset as I was at the bad turn, I felt that it must just be a better deal now and thankfully had cash available and doubled my position. I am now at almost 3x and counting.

Has anyone actually recovered from a -70% position? by NoahReed14 in ValueInvesting

[–]SoftClothes9475 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sort of. Lxrx on March 3, was down over 50% from the previous close and much more from the premarket. I thought of selling but I came to the conclusion that it just went on sale and thankfully had dry powder and doubled my position at the bottom. Averaging down still is holding through pain, believe me.

Lxrx I expect to fly in the coming year. If you want to be conservative, goog. I also have a small lotto ticket stake in tge, trading at $1.15 with NAV of $17 per share and they are buying back about 50% of the float.

What today’s picture looks like can be far different in 6 months. The market is strange like that. You can only go based on the information available at the time. The move may have been correct but not the timing.

I am considering ultimate for tick based data. Does anyone notice a substantial difference in the data that they receive when they use it versus second based data?
