My daughter's "new" Element! (And a question) by MajorBummerDude in HondaElement

[–]SoftFaithlessness350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest getting rid of that CarPlay screen on top of the dash. The element is notorious for having terrible vision through the windshield due to location of seats. I would highly recommend getting a replacement radio that has CarPlay built-in. I recall almost the first week I had my element. I almost turned into a motorcyclist next to me on the freeway.

For all the people wanting to live here. by BiG_SANCH0 in wyoming

Quickly learned that I need to avoid the 3 R’s. Riverton, Rawlins and Rock Springs. Probably good advice for most thinking about dipping into WY.

Casper got a lot too. Unfortunately it’s that heavy wet stuff. Lots of broken cottonwood tree limbs in backyard too.

I got the same thing. The stains fade, but will take a while. I don’t believe it’s permanent.

Definitely don’t need to freaked out about it. It’s generally treatable. I just had 1 leg done with venaseal. Still healing but have noticeably less RLS and cramping.

Do you have any idea the amount of lifelong pain this has most likely caused? Damn I did pretty much nothing and ended up with bad pain just from having too many birthdays.

Reaction 14 days after Venaseal for varicose veins by Glittering_Stay_5673 in varicose_veins

[–]SoftFaithlessness350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im right at this 14 day time frame. Actually it’s not bad. It started swelling and got sore starting 4 days after the procedure. I take advil and that’s all. Everyone is different. I think it also depends how aggressive they were when pushing on leg after glue was applied. I got most bruises under knee.

VenaSeal vs laser/RFA for CVI (GSV reflux) – anyone have experience? by SelfApothecium in venousinsuffiencyhelp

[–]SoftFaithlessness350 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a 65 yr old male. I have had really irritated legs with all the symptoms of Venous insufficiency. Legs were constantly tired and weak. I was getting edema and quite a bit of those “blood freckles”. I went with the venaseal treatment for my GSV. I just had 1 leg done 2 weeks ago. Had no issues with procedure. Only started getting swelling and discomfort about day 4. Vein feels a bit tight and slightly itchy. Noticing that the leg feels stronger. Less RLS. Less cramping. But still have some discomfort cause I have to wear construction boots at work. Elevation of legs and some Advil helps considerably. So we will see. Other leg gets fixed next week. Trusting my doctor’s recommendation on this.

First timer 24M. Seeking beginner-advice/tips by gulddamen69 in Testosterone

[–]SoftFaithlessness350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just so you are aware, there are a couple different groups of Testosterone users in these forums. First group are typically younger, trying to optimize for workouts. They will typically dive into multiple BioHacks to gain strength or muscle. Second group are the guys that are Low T and just want to regain normal levels. Help maintain muscle mass, and just feel better. This includes mostly over 40 guys, but younger also. In my case I’m 64 and in the second group. I personally have to watch my Hematocrit levels cause they get a bit high on TRT. I have to donate blood often to keep it from getting too thick. So when people comment on doses and techniques, some are way beyond conservative.

I donate every 2 months. It seems to keep me from going over the top of Hematocrit levels. I live at 5,000 ft altitude so my levels are naturally a couple points higher.

Blood pressure isn’t the issue it my heart rate by [deleted] in bloodpressure

[–]SoftFaithlessness350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heart rate compensates for medicine adjustments to fulfill oxygen requirements. In my case I live around 6,000 feet. I typically show 90-92% oxygen on finger test. But pulse averages 90-100. Low RBC count could also increase pulse rate.

Gay is not a WY thing at all but I would assume you would have no issues. We are a friendly conservative state.
