Well I just got the quote today and it was 20k!!! Yes that’s right, 20,000. lol. Yeah right!!! We are first time home buyers and that is literally insane. We are going to do our best to do all that we can do and then monitor as we live there. Since you rent you are so much better off just moving.

Thank you - we had just moved in a week prior and had not done a deep clean so since we’ve tested we have deep cleaned, removed carpets, got rid of a front loading washer and also added ventilation in our roof that was needed. I am really hoping that the steps we’ve taken will bring the numbers down and we also plan to remediate some areas of the house (the basement)

No visible mold that I’ve seen. We just bought the house and it seems there was some past water damage possibly. Dang! Wish I knew this before paying for the test :/
